Pension analysis
State (OASI/DI), occupational (BVG/LPP) and third-pillar provision: the heart of our service
A structured assessment of all three pillars of the Swiss pension system: OASI/DI (1st pillar), occupational pension provision under the BVG/LPP (2nd pillar) and private pension provision (Pillars 3a and 3b). It shows where your current cover diverges from what you want your life to look like.
- Gather
We gather your insurance and pension information and structure it into a clear and comprehensive overview of your current situation.
- Model
We model your expected benefits at retirement and in the event of disability or death and assess their practical impact on your financial objectives.
- Quantify
We identify and quantify potential income shortfalls based on your desired standard of living, financial commitments and objectives.
- Prioritise
Together, we establish priorities between protecting your income, safeguarding your family's financial security and building retirement capital.
Based on this assessment, we structure specific and targeted solutions: Pillar 3 and risk protection solutions – including life and disability cover – are coordinated with your occupational pension benefits to address identified gaps and strengthen your overall protection over the long term.
Calculator
Your tax saving with Pillar 3a
Contributions to a Pillar 3a are deductible from taxable income, making the resulting tax saving one of its most immediate financial benefits. Pillar 3a is, however, much more than a tax-saving instrument: it is a comprehensive pension solution that can also incorporate tailored death and disability protection according to your family and financial circumstances.
Speak to an Assidu adviser to turn the tax benefit into a strategy that holds together.
Edit details
The following table shows the details of the annual tax savings calculation through Pillar 3a contributions. The taxable income is derived from the gross income minus the social insurance contributions, the social/flat-rate deductions available at federal and cantonal level, and the planned Pillar 3a contribution. The deduction values and tax rates used are based on the tariffs from the Federal Tax Administration (FTA/ESTV).

Retirement and financial planning
Plan your retirement with confidence
Where your situation involves substantial assets, several pension accounts, real estate holdings or self-employed activity, we develop a coordinated plan together, based on your objectives, time horizon, liquidity requirements and risk profile.
- Coordination and, where possible, staggered withdrawals from occupational pension assets and Pillar 3
- Projection of your income, expenditure and asset development before and after retirement
- Whether voluntary purchases into your occupational pension fund are appropriate, and their financial and tax implications
- Integration of your real estate and mortgage financing into your overall financial plan
- Pension income or lump-sum withdrawal: comparative analysis of the available options

Home ownership and mortgage financing
Much more than a rate
Whether you are buying a home or renewing an existing mortgage, our analysis goes beyond the mortgage rate itself: we consider the structure of your financing, its long-term affordability and how the transaction fits with your overall pension planning. A mortgage specialist supports you throughout the process.
- Independent comparison of offers from banks, insurance companies and pension funds active in the Swiss market
- Fixed-rate mortgages, SARON mortgages and other variable-rate solutions, according to your time horizon and risk tolerance
- Assessment of affordability based on your income, expenses and overall financial commitments
- Coordination of direct or indirect amortisation, including through Pillar 3a
- The consequences of incapacity for work, disability or death on your ability to retain and finance your home
- The use of occupational pension assets (advance withdrawal or pledge) and Pillar 3a assets to finance owner-occupied residential property
Calculator
Is your property project affordable?
The calculator applies criteria commonly used by Swiss banks and gives you an initial indication of whether the financing is affordable today. A second question deserves equal attention: if you became disabled or died, could your household continue to afford the property?
Indicative estimate. Affordability is tested at an imputed rate of 5%, maintenance of 1% of the value per year and repayment of the second mortgage over 15 years.
