About us

Independent advice built on trust

Assidu is an independent, family-owned insurance broker, firmly rooted in Switzerland and guided by a long-term perspective. Since 1979, we have supported companies, public and subsidised entities, self-employed professionals and private clients in making informed decisions across three key areas:

  • Insurance and risk management
  • Pension provision
  • Mortgage financing

Trust, continuity and personal relationships shape the way we work. These principles guide how we select our people and partners and how we build relationships with every client.

We do not represent an insurance company. We represent our clients.

We assess each client's needs, review existing insurance cover and compare competing solutions from our network of partners through a neutral and highly specialised approach.

Our mission

One partner to protect people, assets and plans

The world of insurance, pensions and mortgage financing is becoming increasingly complex. Our mission is to act as a beacon: to clarify the available options, explain their advantages and limitations, and guide you towards sound solutions without sales pressure or alarmist messaging.

At Assidu, cover, terms and premiums are tailored to each client following a thorough risk assessment.

Our services

How we can support you

Insurance and risk management

We review your existing insurance cover, identify potential gaps and ensure that your insurance arrangements are consistent and aligned with the protection of your assets and wealth – for SMEs, large companies, public and subsidised entities, self-employed professionals and private clients.

Our added value

The independent, client-focused alternative

Going directly to a single insurance company limits your options. We optimise the total cost of risk by selecting suitable cover from the market and negotiating competitive terms – as a people-focused organisation, 100% family-owned.

Independent and true to our values

Our capital is held entirely by the founding family and active management. We are not publicly listed and are not controlled by multinational groups or investment funds.

Our approach

Understanding your situation. Anticipating what comes next.

Every mandate begins with careful listening and a comprehensive understanding of the client's situation. We analyse risks, compare the market and support each decision with a clear, structured and long-term perspective.

  1. Risk analysis

We identify vulnerabilities before they result in losses and develop a risk strategy tailored to your organisation.

Phase 1Risk analysis and mappingOperational, financial, cyber and liability risks.
Phase 2Review of existing insurance coverAre current policies appropriate, overlapping or leaving gaps?
Phase 3Strategy and action planTransfer to the insurance market, mitigate through preventive measures or consciously retain each risk.
  2. Risk placement in the market

With more than CHF 200 million in annual premiums under management and a network of over 80 insurance partners, we have a strong negotiating position few can match.

Phase 1Market benchmarkingCompetition across the Swiss and international markets, including specialist insurers for niche and complex risks.
Phase 2Comparative analysis and transparencyRelationship between premiums and benefits, and policy wording negotiated by our in-house specialists.
Phase 3Implementation and policy issuancePolicy issuance, then continuous monitoring and administration over time.
  3. Expert claims handling and protection of your interests

The value of an insurance broker becomes particularly clear when a claim occurs: you never face the insurer alone.

Phase 1Immediate assistanceUrgent measures, loss mitigation and the documentation required to support the claim.
Phase 2Proactive claims management and coordinationLoss adjusters, experts and other parties involved, for efficient handling by the insurer.
Phase 3Representation, settlement and indemnityFirm negotiation for a prompt and fair indemnity.
